Juicy veal steak

Sometimes, the most beautiful flavors are simple to prepare, and with a few tricks, the result can exceed expectations and delight everyone we serve our little masterpiece to. This is the case with veal steak,  thanks to its tender texture and mild but characteristic taste. That’s why we have prepared a recipe for you, which includes herbs and wine – and when it comes to side dishes, you can choose your favorite.

You will need:

  • Four veal steaks
  • One teaspoon of Vegeta seasoning
  • Four sprigs of fresh or one teaspoon of dried rosemary
  • Two tablespoons of olive oil
  • 50 g of butter
  • salt and pepper
  • Juice of one lemon
  • parsley
  • 50 ml of white wine

Preparation:

If necessary, flatten the veal steaks with a hammer, pour lemon juice over them, then rub them with Vegeta, salt, and pepper on each side. Leave for 10 minutes for the meat to absorb the aroma of the spices. Heat olive oil and butter in a pan, then fry the meat on each side until golden brown. Before finishing cooking, add a little white wine, such as Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc, which will give the steaks a richer taste. Serve with a sprig of rosemary and a side dish of your choice.

Additional advice:

Pairing veal steak with lighter white wines such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, or Pinot Grigio is not just a recommendation, but also a way to enjoy a symphony of flavors. Chardonnay will go well with the hints of butter you used during preparation, while Sauvignon Blanc, thanks to its aroma, will emphasize the freshness in every bite. If you choose Pinot Grigio, its gentle fruity notes and subtle mineral finish will enable balance, providing a light contrast to the texture of the meat.

Enjoy your meal!
