Weekend Inspiration for Bosnian Goulash

Ingredients:

  • 500 g beef chuck
  • red wine Priur de Seguree
  • 2 heads of red onion
  • 150 g carrots
  • 250 g canned diced tomatoes
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • ground paprika, seasoning mix
  • salt, pepper
  • 1 beef broth cube
  • half a tablespoon of ajvar

Season the meat with pepper, salt, ground paprika, and seasoning mix. Chop the red onions and sauté them until softened. Add the seasoned meat and simmer for 10 minutes. Dissolve the beef broth cube in warm water and pour it into the pot along with a little red wine. Add the carrots, garlic, and canned tomatoes, cover, and let it cook on low heat for about an hour, adding warm water as needed. Towards the end, add the ajvar and let it cook for another 5 minutes. Serve with a glass of red wine, and enjoy!
