Weekend Inspiration for Veal in Teriyaki Style

Ingredients:

  • 250 g of veal
  • a pinch of ground ginger
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 100 ml of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of vinegar
  • 1 cup of basmati rice
  • a bit of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds

For the marinade, mix the soy sauce, honey, vinegar, a bit of black pepper, a pinch of ground ginger, and finely chopped garlic. Gently heat the mixture until the honey melts, then add 250 g of veal cut into thin strips. Let the meat marinate for at least 2 hours. Then, sauté the meat in a pan together with the remaining marinade until it turns golden brown. Serve on a bed of cooked basmati rice and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
