Weekend Inspiration: Pistachio Baklava

Ingredients:

1 pack of baklava phyllo sheets

400 g ground pistachios

20 g milk chocolate

2 tbsp cocoa powder

450 g sugar

240 ml water

600 ml milk

150 g butter

80 ml oil

Cook the sugar and water until it comes to a boil. After 5 minutes, remove from heat, let it cool slightly, then add the milk and stir well to make the syrup.

Melt the butter completely and mix it with the oil.

Divide the baklava phyllo sheets into two equal parts. Arrange half of the sheets on the bottom of the baking tray, brushing each one with the melted butter and oil. Then evenly spread the pistachios on top. Place the remaining sheets over the pistachios, again brushing each sheet. Finally, brush the baklava with butter and cut it into pieces. Bake for 1 hour at 150°C.

Wait 10 minutes after removing it from the oven, then pour the syrup over the baklava. Let it absorb for 1 hour, then sprinkle with cocoa powder and grated milk chocolate.
