VEAL STEAKS IN SOUR CREAM SAUCE
This week’s weekend inspiration brings you veal cutlets in a cooking cream sauce. To begin with, find the freshest veal shoulder in our market in the heart of the city.
- Veal steaks
- Curry spice mix
Begin by seasoning the veal schnitzels with salt. On one side, coat them with a generous amount of curry spice mix, and on the other side, dip them in flour to ensure an even coating.
Next, heat a pan with oil until it’s hot. Fry the veal steaks in the hot oil until they turn a beautiful golden brown color.
Afterward, add a bit of water to the pan and reduce the heat to low. Let the veal simmer for approximately an hour. Add two cloves of garlic, which you’ve cut into thin strips, to enhance the flavor.
When the veal steaks have become tender, prepare a creamy sauce. Mix a spoonful of dry flour with a small amount of water and a spoonful of Dukat cooking cream. Stir the mixture thoroughly until it’s well combined. Then, add this sauce to the meat.
For an extra kick of flavor, sprinkle a bit of ground red pepper into the dish.
Your veal steaks in sour cream sauce are now ready to be served. Enjoy your meal!
