Weekend Inspiration: Spicy Squid with Vegetables


  • 400 g of squid
  • 1 zucchini
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 chili pepper
  • 100 g of green beans
  • Spring onions
  • Soy sauce
  • 2 cherry tomatoes
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • Ginger powder
  • Olive oil (Terra Creta extra virgin)


Cut the zucchini, carrot, spring onion, and bell pepper into strips. Cut garlic into leaves. Remove the seeds and veins from the chili pepper and finely chop it. Briefly blanch the cherry tomatoes, remove their skin, and chop them into small cubes. Also, briefly blanch the green beans, which should be cut into smaller pieces. In Terra Creta extra virgin olive oil, fry bell pepper, green beans, and carrots. Add squid, cut into rings, along with garlic leaves and chili pepper. Season the mixture with soy sauce and ginger powder. Add the finely chopped cherry tomatoes and simmer on high heat for 5 minutes. Afterward, add zucchini and spring onions. Turn off the heat, mix well, and serve the dish warm.
