Chicken Thighs in Mustard and Turmeric

Chicken thighs are always an excellent option for a family lunch. And with a marinade of mustard, turmeric, and lemon juice, you can enjoy a harmonious blend of flavors.

Ingredients:

  • 8 chicken thighs
  • 5 tablespoons of mustard
  • 2 teaspoons of turmeric
  • 4 finely chopped cloves of garlic
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation:

Mix the mustard, turmeric, finely chopped garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Wash the chicken thighs and dry them with a paper towel. Take each chicken thigh and carefully coat it with the marinade. Then, leave them to rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 200°C. Place the thighs in a baking tray and bake them for about 40-45 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle with fresh herbs and serve warm with a side dish like potatoes or rice.

This recipe brings a fine blend of juicy and tender chicken in a creamy white sauce complemented by refreshing grilled cherry tomatoes.

Ingredients:

For the chicken:

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 2 finely chopped cloves of garlic

For the sauce:

  • 1 cup of cooking cream
  • ½ cup of grated Parmesan
  • 2 finely chopped cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • Salt and pepper

For the grilled cherry tomatoes:

  • 1 cup of cherry tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Fresh basil leaves

Preparation:

Mix olive oil, lemon juice, finely chopped garlic, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Marinate the chicken breast in this mixture for about 30 minutes.

While the chicken is marinating, prepare the white sauce. Heat butter in a deep pan over medium heat. Add finely chopped garlic and sauté until soft. Then add cooking cream and grated Parmesan. Cook until the sauce thickens, then season with salt and pepper to taste.

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 cloves of finely chopped garlic

Preparation:

Start by preparing the chicken for roasting by washing it thoroughly inside and out, then drying it with paper towels.

Mix softened butter, finely chopped garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, fresh parsley, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.

Evenly apply the butter and spice mixture under the skin of the chicken and on its surface.

Place the chicken in a large roasting pan and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 20 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 180°C and continue baking for another 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the chicken becomes golden brown.
