Weekend inspiration for preparing rolled veal, potatoes with herbs and mushroom sauce

The weekend has arrived, and you want to relax from the workweek by cooking a delicious meal for yourself or your loved ones, but you’ve run out of inspiration?

Don’t worry; from now on, we are here to offer you recipes and ideas, but also all the necessary ingredients in one place – in the heart of the city!

The first step is the simplest – find the rolled veal at Crvena jabuka gastro market Marindvor; it will be our little secret. 😊

Having solved the problem of the main dish, we move on to side dishes.

Mushroom sauce as a perfect addition to rolled veal.

You need:

2 tablespoons of oil

A head of red onion

500g of oyster mushrooms

Cream

Spices as desired.

First of all, open a bottle of your favorite win and play some music…

Pour some oil into the pan and let it heat up slightly. Add the finely chopped onion, then the sliced oyster mushrooms. Mix well so that the mushrooms release their juices.

After that, leave them to stew and exchange aromas, and you can make a “wine break” with top Milas wine.

Now it’s time for the main part of the story… Add the cooking cream and spices as desired. It’s an ideal opportunity to exercise your right to artistic freedom and add as much as you feel is necessary. 😊

Remove the sauce from the heat and sprinkle it with fresh parsley, which will add some freshness and complement the taste.

Your masterpiece is ready; enjoy!

Potatoes with herbs

You need:

800g of potatoes

2 tablespoons of oil

2 spoons of sour milk

1 teaspoon of salt

1/2 teaspoon of red pepper

1 teaspoon of dry spice mix (rosemary, thyme, oregano, basil, and marjoram)

Preparation (simple enough even for complete amateurs):

Peel the potatoes and cut them into strips. Put oil, sour milk, salt, pepper, and a mixture of spices in a suitable container. Mix well and pour it over the potatoes. Mix well by hand.

Cover the tray with baking paper, coat it with oil, arrange the potatoes. Put it to bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees. When the bottom side of the potato is browned, take out the baking sheet, and turn each piece of potato over with a fork so that it browns on the other side as well.

Serve the baked potatoes with the already perfectly seasoned meat, and complete the dish with a drop of Milas Blatina red wine 0.75l.

Enjoy and cheers!
