Weekend inspiration for juicy veal steak with stuffed mushrooms

Veal schnitzels are considered one of the most appreciated meat delicacies, and when paired with stuffed mushrooms, they offer a true rhapsody of flavors. Although the dish may seem a bit complex at first, its beauty is revealed precisely in its simplicity.

Ingredients:

  • 3 veal steaks (450 g)
  • 1 tablespoon of vegeta
  • 50 g of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 300 g of larger mushrooms
  • 100 g of gorgonzola
  • Half a spoonful of grated nutmeg
  • 200 ml of sweet cream
  • 1 tablespoon breadcrumbs

Preparation:

Lightly beat the veal schnitzels with a hammer, sprinkle them with vegeta, and fry them in a mixture of butter and olive oil for about 10 minutes on each side.

Clean the champignons and separate the cap from the stem. Cut the stalks into smaller pieces, fry them briefly in a little butter, then mix them with diced gorgonzola.

Fill the schnitzels with this mixture, place them in an oiled tray, sprinkle with nutmeg, breadcrumbs, and cover with sweet cream.

Bake in an oven heated to 200°C for about 30 minutes.

Serving:

Serve veal schnitzels with stuffed mushrooms with mashed potatoes and a green salad.

Enjoy! 😊
