Weekend Inspiration: Goulash with Gnocchi

Ingredients:

  • 500 g gnocchi
  • 300 g turkey breast fillet
  • 250 g button mushrooms
  • 1 red onion
  • 200 ml cooking cream
  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil
  • salt
  • freshly ground black pepper

Preparation:

Cook the gnocchi according to the package instructions. Heat the oil in a pan, sauté the finely chopped onion, then add the diced turkey and cook for about 5 minutes, until lightly golden. Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook for a few more minutes until tender. Pour in the cooking cream, season with salt and freshly ground black pepper, and simmer briefly until the sauce thickens slightly. Add the cooked gnocchi, toss gently to combine, and serve with freshly grated Parmesan or chopped parsley, if desired.
